Thomas Wing Publishing
was founded in 2001 through the vision of our founder, publisher, and author, Dr. Wilburn E. Thomas. Dr. Thomas
was first prompted to write the first edition of the PerMedhist handbook in 1999 because so many
patients seen by him during medical school, internship, residency, and in private practice have had little or an incomplete
knowledge of their medical history. PerMedhist was written in a effort to help individuals develop
and have in their possession a personal source of this important medical information.
Together with
his wife, Dr. Thomas launched Thomas Wing Publishing in the spring of 2001 to provide the creative, marketing, and administrative
support for the highly successful publication, PerMedhist: An Important and Easy-to-Use Handbook for
Recording Your Personal Medical Information.
